About Paul

My work blends methodologies from my own background as a TEFL teacher, language learner, theatre practitioner and musician – and heavily influenced by my long-term mentor & business partner, Ashley Howard. That mix gives me a unique perspective on how pronunciation works — not just in theory, but in real conversations, meetings, keynotes and everyday interactions.

I have my own personal YouTube channel too. It's where I share my latest tips and knowledge on accent, pronunciation and speech that are tried and tested in my 1-to-1 coaching sessions.

My Background

Before all this, I trained as a performer & theatre maker at the University of East Anglia where I received a First Class BA (Hons) in Drama. I've worked as a director, accent coach & voiceover artist, along with working as a drama facilitator for organisations like the National Youth Theatre and Bigfoot Arts Education.

I've worked in Southeast Asia, where I taught English to business and vocational students — and where my fascination with pronunciation really began to take shape.

Originally from South East England, I’m now based in Greater Manchester — still coaching online and still loving the work.
